ALEXANDRA BLAIR: PRINCIPAL + FOUNDER

Alexandra grew up in Queenstown, New Zealand where, as the daughter of an architect father and landscape designing mother, her passion for spatial design was sparked at a young age. Her formal foundation in interiors began with qualifications in Architectural Drafting before honing her profession with a Bachelor of Design (interiors) at Victoria University School of Architecture + Design. Her work has included projects in Dubai, London, Christchurch, Wanaka, and Queenstown, and has been featured in publications including Architecture New Zealand; Trends - Architecture & Design; Houses N.Z.; Urbis; and NZ House and Garden.

Her sense of design covers a vast spectrum, having designed interiors of private residential homes, and commercial projects including luxury apartments, a golf resort restaurant + clubhouse, offices and shop fit outs including facilitating the interior design elements in brand development for both commercial office and retail fit out spaces.

Alexandra Blair Interior Design Ltd was established in 2003, based in Christchurch, New Zealand, and provides full service consultancy and project management encompassing all bespoke requirements for both the residential and commercial market.
